SEBORRHEIC DERMATITIS vs ATOPIC DERMATITIS

	Seborrheic Dermatitis	Atopic Dermatitis
Age of onset	2-3months	5-6months
Presence of itching/pruritus	Mild or absent	Severe
Clinical sites	Starts at scalp (Cradle cap), neck, flexures, groins.	Cheeks, extensor aspects of arms & legs, sparing the groins
Clinical Presentation	Greasy yellow coloured scaling in the above sites	More of erythema, oozing, vesiculation.
Duration	Settles by 6-12months.	Persists till 2years of age or more. 70% patients remits by adolescence.
