Pityriasis Alba

Pityriasis  alba is characterized by round to oval- shaped, fine scaly, flat, erythematous to hypopigmented macule, which is  present on the face, trunk and extensor surfaces of arms & legs.

It is one of the minor sign of Atopic Dermatitis. It is due to dryness of skin, along with exposure to sunlight leading to tanning on normal skin. It can be treated with sunscreens and use of good moisturizing creams.
