Polakiuria

Voiding disorders are common but under recognised in children. Increased daytime urinary frequency is one such condition which troubles the patient and caregivers alike. Frequent urination can have causes that aren’t due to underlying disease. 

Dr Swati Bhardwaj, Senior Consultant, Pediatric Nephrology at BLK Centre for Child Health in this video has briefly summarised, how to distinguish benign urinary frequency from pathological causes. Patience and positive reinforcement is the key to management of Polakiuria.
