Nevus Depigmentosus or Achromic nevus

Nevus depigmentosus is a well- circumscribed macule/patch of hypopigmentation, present since birth. It remains stable in size and shape; only increases in proportion to the body size. On wood’s light the lesion is not chalky white in colour; hence rules out vitiligo. Ideally  it is < 6cm2 in size.
