Clinical Manifestations of Motion Sickness

Previous Post – What is Motion Sickness

Besides Nausea or Vomiting/Retching, which are more often reported by patients, other symptoms exhibited are: 

  • Sweating
  • Cold sweats
  • Excessive salivation
  • Apathy
  • Hyperventilation
  • Increased sensitivity to odours
  • Loss of appetite
  • Headache
  • Drowsiness
  • Warm sensation
  • General discomfort

Most of these above often precede an actual retching or vomiting episode.
